About
Kariya Energy is exploring production and development opportunities across the Atlantic Basin, using world-class technologies from the US and Canada.
Core Competencies
Kariya seeks to acquire producing and highly prospective ‘near-production’ assets that strengthen our position and generate robust cash flow. In order to maximize revenue, we focus on being a low-cost operator.
We plan to grow these assets in the first instance by enhancing production while using the returns to help fund the company’s low risk/higher reward exploration.
Our Commitment
As a full cycle E&P, Kariya Energy is conscious of our environmental, social and governance impacts in all our activities. We maintain close and productive relations with our community and investment partners.
We are committed to transparency in carbon emissions reporting and we mitigate our impact through
- Focus on reducing our carbon footprint
- Gas monetization from our operations
- Monitoring and implementing technologies and digital advancements related to the energy transition
- No gas flaring
Kariya Energy is targeting net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Message from our Chairman
Board of Directors and Management team
Benoît Bogaerts
Chairman, Kariya Energy
When we founded Kariya Energy, our goal was clear: to build a company that could deliver real energy solutions to real challenges—starting with oil and gas infrastructure in the regions that need it most.
Today, Kariya operates across the upstream and midstream segments of the oil and gas value chain, with a growing presence in Africa. We identify and develop underutilized reserves, particularly gas and associated liquids, and bring them online with efficiency and focus. Our midstream operations—gathering, processing, and transport—are designed to unlock value from those resources and bring them to market in a commercially viable and sustainable way.
What sets us apart is our hands-on approach. We’re not in the business of long timelines and endless feasibility studies. We are developers, problem-solvers, and partners who understand that delivering energy in complex markets requires flexibility, speed, and trust.
I’ve spent much of my career working in and with emerging markets, and I’ve seen both the challenges and the enormous potential. At Kariya, we take pride in doing the hard work—building infrastructure where others hesitate, and delivering results that create long-term value for governments, communities, and investors alike.
Natural gas will play a defining role in the continent’s energy transition—and we believe Kariya Energy has an important part to play in that story.
Thank you for your interest in our company and the work we’re doing. We look forward to the road ahead.
Warm regards,
Benoît Bogaerts
